WHAT IS A BOT? A robot can also refer to a Bot, Software Agent, Virtual Human, Crawler, Spider, ChatBot, ChatterBot, *anyname*Bot, and a variety of other names. Basicly, a Bot is:
- a computer program. Like any other computer program it can be developed to do anything that any computer can do.
- Bots can provide information to physical animatronic - robotic bodies, computers, cell phones, telephones, mobile devices, bank machines, and absolutely any communication device imaginable.
- Bots can look like anyone or thing using any type of graphics, video, and animations.
- Bots can have any voice and personality imaginable, that the programmer creates for them.
- Bots are able to communicate in any language imaginable including binary, cryptography, human languages, mammal languages, science fictional languages, dead languages, and endangered languages.
WHAT IS A DEAD OR ENDANGERED LANGUAGE? A dead language has no living fluent speakers. Basicly an endangered language has:
- very few living fluent speakers.
- fluent speakers, but they are all elderly or of one small age group.
- upcoming future generations of people that are not fluent speakers or they have limited knowledge of the language.
- zero support and solutions regarding the most basic of communication tools and technologies of mainstream lifestyles. ie: speech engines, computer operating systems, technological foundations that power communication devices (telephones, cell phones, computers, etc).
