Awards

I love to compete!  It’s one way to test my skills, learn new technologies, and enjoy friendly competition with peers.  Without further ado, here are some of the awards I have been fortunate to win over the years.

2007 National Aboriginal Achievement Award (technology and trades).  A short documentary will air on canadian television live, March 16th, 2007.  More Info.

Bronze Medal2003 ChatterBox Challenge; Bronze Medal; Best Learning Bot Category. Entry: Onkwehonwehneha A.I. (Mohawk Language Robot).  My chatbot competed with about 80 other english language chatbots.  Originally I was refused the opportunity to compete, but was able to convince the contest coordinator to let me compete because my mohawk language robot does speak english and teaches english speakers the mohawk language dialects.  The bronze medal is very heavy and the design is awesome.  I don’t compete in this competition anymore, as my robots’ goals do not match this competition’s goals.

CTMCertified ToastMaster 2003.  I developed and delivered 10 speeches to 10 differant toastmaster groups in the Calgary Alberta area.  Each of my speeches followed the guidelines in the new toastmaster’s manual.  I look forward to challenging myself more in the future with more advanced toastmaster manuals.  I plan to deliver speeches that motivate people to enjoy the benefits of innovative technologies.
